sportessex Sports Projects Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to coordinate the achievement of the Essex Local Area Agreement NI8 target for increasing adult participation in sport and physical activity.
Working within a strong team you will also take responsibility for the delivery of the sportessex Physical Activity Plan and its interventions connecting this work to the Essex active alliance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to deliver the sportessex marketing strategy covering a range of marketing tactics.
Working within a strong team you will take responsibility for coordinating all programme specific marketing materials and interventions including the development of logos and brands, promotional materials, adverts and media interventions, corporate documentation, web content and graphics, web pages and html marketing materials. You will also support the delivery of the sportessex events programme.

Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop Wednesday 8th December 2010
Protect yourself, the young people you are coaching and your employer by understanding and following good coaching practice. Learn about child abuse and how to handle situations if you have concerns.
This course can help a club to meet one of the 'Duty of care and child protection' criteria for Sport England Clubmark accreditation. 'At least two members of the club, one of whom must be a coach have attended child protection training' (Sport England Clubmark Resource Pack, 2002).
Please note:
* All delegates for Safeguarding and Protecting Children must be over 16 years of age. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian who must stay for the duration of the workshop, the guardian must be over the age of 18. This guardian may be a colleague from the sports club, or a parent/carer etc. If this guardian does not wish to take part in the workshop, they MUST contact sportessex before any bookings are made to make arrangements.
* It is recommended that this course is retaken every three years due to changes in legislation.
* You will need all delegates full names and e-mail addresses in order to book places on this workshop.
Please note that refunds for delegate cancellations will only be given if over 14 days notice is given to sportessex by the delegate. Where more than 14 days notice is given to sportessex, places may be re-scheduled where possible.
